No. 3 North Carolina is back at its home-away-from-home in Cary this week after pulling out a tough ACC baseball series at College Park, Md. Carolina (18-4, 7-2 ACC) hosted Davidson on Tuesday and has Gardner-Webb at 6 p.m. today at the Baseball USA Center in Cary.

Right fielder Tim Fedroff belted his first career grand slam and drove in a career-high six runs, and third baseman Chad Flack added a grand slam and five RBI in No. 3 North Carolina's 19-1 win Sunday over Maryland at Shipley Field. The Tar Heels scored five runs in the fourth, seven in the sixth and five in the eighth to help take their eighth straight series from the Terrapins (11-11, 2-7 ACC).

With his two base hits Saturday, Flack moved past associate head coach Chad Holbrook for fourth on Carolina's career hit list. His eight hits over the weekend brought his career total to with 277.

Saturday, Dustin Ackley and Seth Williams each homered and combined to drive in seven runs in a 14-1 win for Carolina at Maryland. Ackley was 2-for-3 with three runs and four RBI on a two-run home run in the third and a two-run double in the eighth, while Williams was 2-for-5 with three runs and three RBI.
