Also today, the Mid-State Conference is well represented in the 2-A playoffs with 3 teams left among the last 8 alive in the East region. Tennis North Carolina senior Sophie Grabinski and junior Sanaz Marand completed their five-match run by winning the doubles championship Monday at the Wilson/ITA Southeast Regionals at Wake Forest's Indoor Tennis Center. By virtue of winning the regional title, Grabinski and Marand earn an automatic bid to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's national tournament Nov. 6-9 in Charlottesville, Va.
