This is a good week to grab a lawn chair or blanket, stock up on provisions, stake out a spot on the Green at Southern Village and just let the entertainment come to you. Tonight and Thursday, Act One, Act Now Community Theatre for Young People will present its annual Shakespeare Under the Stars production, "Romeo and Juliet" (left). More than a dozen students in grades 4-12 from the Chapel Hill-Durham area are involved. Performances are at 7 p.m., and admission is $5. Friday, the North Carolina Symphony (above) will play its 10th annual Southern Village concert, with resident conductor William Henry Curry. The concert will feature selections of classical favorites from Strauss, Mendelssohn and Wagner, as well as works including John Williams' theme from "Star Wars," Danny Elfman's theme from "The Simpsons" theme and Henry Mancini's "Moon River." The show will be at 7:30 p.m., and it's free. On Sunday, the Summer Music Series brings old favorites The Ramblers to The Green at 7 p.m. Mike Craver, Bill Hicks, Joe Newberry and Jim Watson will do old Red Clay Rambler favorites along with a wide variety of old-time songs. Admission is $5.
