Every year the Chapel Hill Museum presents an exhibit of works by members of the North Carolina chapter of the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators, and this year's show is especially spectacular. "Wonders of the Natural World" features works by 20 artists in a variety of media, depicting everything from botanicals to wildlife. Above, an oil painting of a Lenten Rose by Chris Graebner; at right, a pen-and-ink drawing of a black bear by Dale A. Morgan. The show will be up in the museum's West Gallery through Sept. 6. Parking and admission are free; donations are always welcomed. 967-1400, www.chapelhillmuseum.org.
